Packaging
Every package of Elite water is carefully prepared for shipping, as you can see by the photos. Sturdy boxes and quality bottles make shippmens around the world easy and available around the clock.
Water is pumped from a well at the depth of about 100m. It flows to the filtration and tank system in the production plant. Here, it is filtered through a mechanical 1 micron filter and 0.6 and 0.2 membrane, which prevents microbiological contamination. The depth of the well and the temperature around 8 C make a possibility of microbiological contamination minimal. Pressure in the water preparation system ranges from 4 to 6 bars, and in the water bottling system from 4 to 8 bars.
Bottles of 1.5L and 0.5L are prepared by wrapping six bottles with shrink film. Two wrapped packets are then put in a carton box. Then 5 lines of the boxes are put on an Europalette, dimensions 800x1200 mm. They are then wrapped with wrap film. With typical overseas shipping palettes are put in 40 foot containers.
Export ports in Croatia include Split, Rijeka and Zadar. The export capacity is up to 40 million 1.5L bottles a year. Bottles of 0.5, 5L and 6L are also available.
